In its second year, Bris Funny Fest did a fantastic job of offering performance opportunities to some truly talented local comics, as well as providing audiences with affordable, quality shows. The two-hour closing show on Sunday, August 20 featured 16 comedians of various styles and backgrounds, producing comedy gold (and silver).

Some of the highlights of the night included Andy Thompson and his psycho kid, Angus Gordon and his kettle-plugged grandmother, Dalton Whiskey’s virtual reality employment, and the hands-down crowd favourite, Chris Vitnell, who showcased his amazing dance moves with impeccable comic timing.

We look forward to more shows in the 2018 season when we will again be proud to support Brisbane comedy.
