REAL JOB. REAL LAUGHS.
Fresh from the Melbourne Fringe Festival Claire Healy brings us her latest cabaret show (Get a) Real Job. Healy’s hilarious job history recounts experiences of busking in Croatia, being a tennis tour guide, working the night shift at a bar and a taxi call centre, teaching ukulele in Greece and even ripping squid with her bare hands! This uber talented comedienne composes her own songs, has a stellar voice, and accompanies herself on the piano and ukulele.
Do yourself a favour and go and check out this fantastically effervescent cabaret artist before (ironically) Healy gets a ‘real’ job with Melbourne Theatre Company’s The Lady in the Van early next year.
(Get a) Real Job is playing as part of the Wonderland Festival 2018 and is now showing until Sunday, 2 December 2018 at the Brisbane Powerhouse.
