THIS LIFE HAS IT ALL

Life the Show finale

With more wow factor than the seven wonders, Charlie Chaplin meets modern circus cabaret in Life the Show at the 2018 Brisbane Festival.

Starring international clown Goos Meeuwsen (whose credits include Cirque du Soleil), Life the Show is a superbly entertaining, yet strangely relatable, take on the human journey. Produced by festival favourite Strut and Fret, Life the Show begins with a strong narrative about a man who goes through the stoic motions of running the ‘rat race’. That is, until he meets his love to whom he marries.

The wedding is followed by a spectacularly innovative aerial act representing two sperms in a condom. Never seen before, the mesmerising act appeared so dangerous it caused the audience to involuntary gasp and scream.

Each member of the international cast has a different skillset, forming a high-octane, multi-disciplinary, powerhouse team. With singers, dancers (including tap), clowns, aerial artists, a swinging saxophonist, funky band, and a clever interactive light show; Life the Show has it all!

Last night was the official opening of the Brisbane Festival, and you have until September 29 to watch this jaw-dropping show (or choose from a plethora of others).
